After a tough season, the Grand Blanc high school Basketball team is getting some much-needed support from the community.
local businesses are donating food and supplies for a team banquet, and community members are organizing a car wash to raise money for new uniforms.
The support is a boost for the team, which has struggled this year with a record of 3-17. But Coach Stevehtml White says he’s proud of how the players have persevered.
“Our guys have worked hard all season, and it’s great to see the community rallying behind them,” White said. “We’re looking forward to finishing the season strong and representing Grand Blanc with pride.”

After making it to the State Finals last year, the team was hit hard by graduation, losing seven Key Players This year, they’ve been working hard to rebuild, and their determination is paying off. The community has rallied behind them, attending every Home game and cheering them on. Restaurants are offering discounts to anyone wearing a Grand Blanc shirt, and businesses are hanging signs in support of the team.
