Siu Basketball Schedule for the 2017-2018 season The Salukis have had an up and down season, but they are currently on a three game Winning Streak

11/10/17 – Salukis vs. Saint Louis – W 77-68
The Salukis started off their season with a win against Saint Louis Siu was led by Armon Fletcher, who had 21 points and 9 rebounds. The Salukis outrebounded the Billikens 48-32 and shot 50% from the field.

11/15/17 – Salukis vs. Bradley – L 64-84
The Salukis lost their first game of the season to Bradley. Siu was beaten on the boards, as they were outrebounded 44-30. Bradley also shot 50% from the field, while the Salukis shot just 39%. Armon Fletcher was once again Siu’s leading scorer, with 17 points.

11/18/17 – Salukis vs. SEMO – W 83-79 (OT)
The Salukis won a close game against SEMO in overtime. Siu was down 79-77 with less than a minute left in OT, but Armon Fletcher hit two Free throws to give the Salukis the lead for good. Fletcher finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds, and he was named MVC Player of the Week for his performance.

Points

Steals
A steal occurs when a Defensive Player takes the ball from an offensive player before he has finished bringing the ball under control or has had enough time to pass it to another teammate (touches are required).

The Southern Illinois University men’s basketball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season The team will open its season on November 5th at home against North Carolina A&T, followed by a road game against booker T. Washington on November 8th. The team will then have a stretch of 7 home games taking on teams such as Murray State Bradley, and Missouri State
