Growing up, Levi had two older sisters who both played college basketball one at UTSA and the other at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio When Levi was around eight years old, his father passed away from a sudden heart attack. From then on, Levi was determined to make his father proud by doing what he loved – playing basketball
Levi Watkins started playing basketball when he was nine years old. He joined his first youth team, The Spurs, shortly after his father’s passing. It was then that he realized his true passion for the sport. Since joining The Spurs, Levi has won multiple youth championships and has been named MVP numerous times. This past year, Levi led his team to an undefeated season and was once again named MVP. He averaged an impressive 21 points per game and 10 rebounds per game.
Now a freshman in high school Levi Watkins is already receiving interest from some of the top Division 1 college programs in the country.
