Manheim Central is led by senior guard Katie Wetherhold, who is averaging 18 points per game Wetherhold is a four-year starter and has been the team’s leading scorer the past two seasons. She is a wily veteran who knows how to get to the basket and score.
Wetherhold is flanked by junior forwards Madison Orr and Olivia Smith. Orr is a versatile player who can score inside and out. She is averaging 15 points and eight rebounds per game Smith is a physical presence in the paint, averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds per game
Rounding out the starting lineup are sophomore guard Leah Bowers and freshman guard/forward Abby Wagner. Bowers is a tenacious defender and an excellent three-point shooter. Wagner is a versatile player who can play multiple positions

They are led by their senior captain, Alexya Wagner, who is averaging an impressive 22 points per game The team’s success this season can be attributed to their hard work and dedication; they have put in countless hours of practice and it has paid off. They are truly a team to watch this season!
The Team’s Roster
The team is led by Senior point guard Jenna Stauffer who has already committed to play Division 1 basketball at La Salle University La’ Mya Ransom, a sophomore, starts at shooting guard and is one of the top three-point shooters in the state. Emmaus transfer Alex Derr starts at small forward Rounding out the starting lineup are juniors Olivia Heilman (power forward) and Kailyn Shuman (center).

The team’s rivals are the Hempfield Black Knights and the Warwick Warriors. The Black Knights are a tough team to beat, but the Warriors always give them a run for their money. These two teams always bring out the best in each other, and it’s always a close game when they meet.

The Manheim Central School District’s girls basketball team is one to Watch This Season The team plays its home games on the district’s new regulation-size court, which was installed last year. With a capacity of 1,200 people, the court is one of the largest in the area. The team has access to locker rooms a weight room, and a training room.
