Matt Reed is a 6’10” Power Forward who played college ball at UC Irvine. He was a three-time All-American and is the school’s All-time leading scorer. He went undrafted in the NBA, but he’s been tearing up the Chinese Basketball Association for the past few years.

However, a Knee Injury suffered during his senior year ended his college career and left him undrafted by the NBA.
Despite not being drafted, Reed continued to play basketball professionally overseas for several years. He was recently named MVP of the Cyprus Basketball league after averaging an incredible 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists per game

It’s simple: because he’s never been given a chance to prove himself at the highest level Had he not been injured in college, it’s very likely that he would have had a successful NBA career. As it stands, he’s an amazing player who has had to make do with playing in relative obscurity.
