After a two-year hiatus, Nebraska Baseball is set to return in 2022. The Cornhuskers will play an abbreviated schedule of 27 games, beginning on February 18th. All of Nebraska’s home games will be played at Haymarket Park in Lincoln.
This will be the first time since 2001 that Nebraska will not compete in the Big 12 Conference. The Cornhuskers will instead be playing as an independent team. Head coach Darin Erstad said that while he’s excited to have baseball back in Nebraska, the focus is on taking things one game at a time.
