The 2019 Central Catholic Baseball Team is announced their schedule for the upcoming season The schedule includes games against conference rivals and non-conference opponents. The conference rivals include:

Conference: North Suburban
Rivals: Loyola Academy, Glenbrook South Highland Park, New Trier Township, Evanston Township, Maine West Waukegan

The non-conference opponents on the schedule include teams from across the state of Illinois and Indiana. Some of these teams include:

Plainfield North, Benet Academy, Barrington, Sandburg, Oak Lawn Community, Hinsdale South Lincoln-Way East, Lockport Township

2019 Schedule for Central Catholic Baseball

The 2019 schedule for the Central Catholic baseball team has been announced. The season will begin on March 1st with a Home game against rival St. Mary’s. The team will play a total of 24 games, 14 of which will be conference games. Some of the highlights of the schedule include home games against traditional powers like St. Xavier, Elder, and Moeller. The team will also travel to Louisville, Kentucky to play in the prestigious Archbishop Moeller Invitational tournament.

2019 Schedule for CC Baseball

The 2019 varsity baseball season for Central Catholic High School will commence on Tuesday, February 26th at home against Franklin Regional. The Rams then travel to Mars on Friday, March 1st before beginning section play on Monday, March 11th against Hempfield.

Central will look to build off of their 2018 campaign in which they went 15-5 in section games and ultimately fell to Peters Township in the WPIAL semi-finals. Head Coach Mark Lyons enters his 4th season at the helm and will be assisted by Paul Klinefelter, Brandon Perkins, and Dylan Auld. The team will be captained by senior infielder/pitcher Jared Brasco, senior pitcher/outfielder Jason Brasco, senior pitcher/first baseman Adam Baierl, and junior pitcher/infielder Collin Michelone.

Schedule for CC Baseball’s Upcoming Season

Central Catholic Baseball has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The team will open up their season on the road against Newark Catholic on Saturday, March 3rd. They will have their home opener the following week on Saturday, March 10th against Toledo St. Francis de Sales.

The team will play a total of 28 games this season, including 16 home games at Thatcher Park in Canton, Ohio. Some of the key games on the schedule include a home-and-home series with defending State Champions Cincinnati Moeller, as well as games against state ranked teams Dublin Jerome and Louisville St. Xavier.

The seasons ends with a three game series at home against Division II opponent Youngstown Ursuline from May 17th-19th.
