The Chapin High School baseball team is a tradition of excellence. The team has won 5 state championships 4 conference championships, and 3 regional championships. The team is coached by Mr. John Jay, who has been coaching the team for 15 years. The team’s colors are blue and white.

For more than two decades, the Chapin High School Baseball Team has been one of the most successful programs in the state of South Carolina Under the guidance of Head Coach Steve Layman, the team has won nine State Championships and has been named national runners-up on three occasions.
The Chapin High School baseball players are widely regarded as some of the best in the country. In fact, more than 30 players have gone on to play professional baseball including Major League Baseball All-Stars like Josh Hamilton and Bryce Harper

The Chapin high school baseball Coaches
The Chapin high school baseball Coaching Staff is made up of head coach Daniel Bradshaw and assistant coaches Tim Easley and Robert Bradley. Coach Bradshaw is entering his sixth season as Head Coach of the Chapin high school baseball program. He has compiled a career coaching record of 172-54, which includes four straight seasons with at least 20 wins. In addition to his on the field success, Coach Bradshaw’s teams have also been successful in the classroom, as his teams have had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in each of his five seasons as Head coach
Assistant coaches Tim Easley and Robert Bradley bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Chapin Baseball Program Coach Easley is entering his eleventh season as an Assistant Coach at Chapin, while Coach Bradley is entering his ninth season. Both coaches have been integral parts in the success of the Chapin baseball program over the years.
