Introduction
The Foothill Knights baseball team is a relatively new team in the area, but they are quickly making a name for themselves. The Knights are a small, local team that is made up of players from all over the area. The team is coached by Tim Bradley, who has been coaching baseball for over 25 years. Bradley is a firm believer in the development of his players and he has instilled a strong work ethic in his team.

Team History
The Foothill Knights Baseball Team has been on the rise in recent years thanks in part to a strong core of young players
The team was founded in 2013, and made an immediate impact in the league, winning the championship in their inaugural season.
Since then, the Knights have been one of the most competitive teams in the league, making the playoffs in each of the last four seasons.

The Coaching Staff
Foothill Knights baseball is excited to announce its Coaching Staff for the upcoming season Joining Head Coach Ryan Wiederkehr will be Associate head coach Bret Butler and assistant coaches Jeff Wiederkehr and Steve Edwards.
Coach Wiederkehr enters his fourth season at the helm of the Knights, looking to build off a successful 2019 campaign in which the team finished with a 27-15 overall record and made an appearance in the CCCAA State Playoffs. Prior to his time at Foothill, Coach Wiederkehr spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach at Cuesta College
Associate Head Coach Bret Butler comes to Foothill after spending the last five seasons as an assistant coach at Hartnell College, where he helped lead the Panthers to four consecutive conference championships and three trips to the CCCAA State Playoffs. Coach Butler also has experience coaching in the High School ranks, spending two seasons as head varsity coach at Santa Cruz high school
Assistant Coach Jeff Wiederkehr returns for his second season with the Knights after serving as Volunteer assistant coach in 2019. A former Knight himself, Coach Wiederkehr was a two-time All-Conference selection during his playing days at Foothill before going on to pitch professionally in the San Francisco Giants organization.
Rounding out the staff is assistant coach Steve Edwards, who comes to Foothill after spending last season as Pitching Coach at Monterey Peninsula College. Prior to MPC, Coach Edwards spent four seasons as Pitching Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator for Menlo College

The Team’s Rivalries
