The Goldey Beacom Baseball Schedule

The Goldey Beacom baseball schedule is set. The team will open their home schedule on Friday, February 28th vs. West Chester at 3:00 pm. The first game of the doubleheader will be seven innings and the second game will be nine innings.

Goldey Beacom Baseball home games

The Goldey-Beacom college baseball team will play nineteen home games at Newark National Little League Stadium in Newark, Delaware this season. The majority of these games are conference matchups in the Central Athletic Conference but the team will also face some non-conference foes.

Goldey Beacom Baseball: Concessions

Looking for something to do on a warm spring or summer day? Why not head to Goldey-Beacom College and catch a baseball game? The college’s team, the Lightning, is a Division II squad that competes in the Central Atlantic Conference The team’s home games are played at BruceVarner Stadium, located on the college’s campus in Wilmington, Delaware.

But before you settle into your seat for nine innings of fun, you may be wondering: what types of concession stand food will be available? We’ve got you covered with this helpful guide.

Hot dogs are always a popular choice at baseball games and Goldey-Beacom is no different. The concession stand will be serving up all beef hot dogs on buns for $3 each. If you want something a little heartier, try the polish sausage sandwich for $4. It comes with grilled onions and peppers on a kaiser roll.

Feeling thirsty? The concession stand will have soda, water and Gatorade available for $2 each. You can also get beer at the game — domestic beers are $5, while import beers are $6. And if you really want to indulge, try the frozen yogurt for $4 per cup. Vanilla and chocolate flavors will be available, and toppings include chocolate chips sprinkles and whipped cream.

So come on out to Goldey-Beacom College and enjoy some baseball…and some good food!

Goldey Beacom Baseball: Parking

Goldey Beacom College is located at 801 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware. We are easily accessible from I-95, I-495 and Route 1. To get to Goldey Beacom College, take Market Street west from I-95 or take Route 1 north from I-495. The main entrance to campus is located at the stoplight on North Market Street. Please note that Rt. 1 North becomes Kirkwood Highway as it approaches the City of Wilmington.

Parking for all home baseball games is available in the Parking Garage located on West 8th Street. There is also Street Parking available on nearby Maryland Avenue and in the residential neighborhoods surrounding campus. Please be mindful of local parking regulations and do not park in No Parking zones, fire lanes or handicapped spaces without proper permits.

Goldey Beacom Baseball: Directions

Goldey Beacom baseball is a college baseball team that competes in NCAA Division II. The team is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The team plays its Home Games at Joseph C. Dodd Stadium, located on the campus of Goldey Beacom College in New Castle, Delaware.

To get to Dodd Stadium from I-95, take Exit 4B (Route 273 East) towards Christiana. Take the first right onto Churchmans Road. The entrance to the campus will be on your right. Follow the signs to parking and Dodd Stadium.
