The Eaton Baseball team will begin their 2020 season on the road against Principia College on February 15. The team’s first Home game will be on March 3 against Fontbonne University.

The 2020 Roster
The Wheaton baseball schedule for the 2020 Season has been announced, and the roster is looking very strong. The team will be led by manager Joe Maddon, and they will be looking to make a deep run in the playoffs. Some of the Key Players on the roster include Kris Bryant Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez The team will also be looking to get contributions from young players like Nico Hoerner and Andrew Vaughn.
The 2020 Coaching Staff
The 2020 Wheaton college baseball Coaching Staff will feature some new faces, as well as some familiar ones. Mike Lyons will return for his 13th season as Head Coach while assistants Tom Lamb and Jason Miller will also be back. New to the staff will be Assistant Coach Matt Becker and volunteer assistant coach Chris Graziano.
Lyons has compiled a 596-426-3 (.583) record in his first 12 seasons at the helm of the Wheaton baseball program He has led the Lyons to eight winning seasons, four 30-plus win seasons and four appearances in the NCAA tournament Prior to arriving at Wheaton, Lyons served as an assistant coach at Trinity College (Conn.), Wesleyan University (Conn.) and Hamilton College (N.Y.). A three-time conference Coach of the Year, Lyons was also named the New England Coach of the Year in 2010.
Lamb enters his fourth season on Lyons’ staff and his 10th season overall as a college baseball coach. He has served as the recruiting coordinator at Wheaton since arriving in 2017 and has helped land some of the top recruiting classes in program history. Prior to coming to Wheaton, Lamb spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Brandeis University (Mass.), where he helped lead the Judges to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2014, 2016). A former Standout Player at Bates College ( Maine), Lamb was named the NESCAC Player of the Year in 2009 after hitting .417 with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs.
Miller is entering his eighth season on Lyons’ staff and his 13th season overall as a college baseball coach. He serves as Wheaton’s pitching coach and has helped developed some of the top pitchers in program history, including All-Americans Matt Brazee (’17) and Mikey Rivera (’18). Prior to coming to Wheaton, Miller spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Salem State University (Mass.), where he helped lead the Vikings to three consecutive conference championships and two NCAA tournament appearances (2013, 2014).
The 2020 Season Outlook
2020 is finally here, and that means baseball season is just around the corner! The Wheaton Wildcats are coming off of an impressive 2019 season in which they went 18-6 overall and made it all the way to the Elite 8 in the playoffs. This year, they will be looking to build on that success and make a run at a state championship
The Wildcats have a tough schedule ahead of them, with games against some of the best teams in the state. However, they have a talented group of players and a great coaching staff so they will be up for the challenge. Here is a look at their schedule for the 2020 season:

The 2020 Tickets
The 2020 Wheaton baseball schedule is now available. The season kicks off on Thursday, February 20th against Elmhurst College The home opener is set for Tuesday, March 3rd against North Central College
Section 1 tickets will be available for all home games Sections 2 and 3 will be available for all non-conference home games Ticket prices for the 2020 season are $5 for adults and $3 for students/seniors/children 12 and under.
