2017-2018 UND Hockey Schedule

The 2017-2018 University of North Dakota men’s Hockey Schedule was released today.

The Sioux will open the regular season at home against Arizona State on Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7.

UND will play a total of 34 regular season games, 17 at home and 17 on the road.

Non-conference opponents for the upcoming season include: Alaska, Alabama Huntsville Arizona State Bemidji State Boston College Colorado College Denver, Ferris State Lake Superior State Miami (Ohio), Minnesota Duluth Nebraska Omaha New Hampshire, Niagara, Northern Michigan, Ohio State Penn State Princeton and Wisconsin.

The University of North Dakota men’s Hockey Team represents the University of North Dakota in the 2017-2018 NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey season The team is coached by Brad Berry, in his third season with UND. The team plays its home games at Ralph Engelstad Arena, in Grand Forks North Dakota and is a member of the National Collegiate Hockey conference (NCHC).

This is a list of players who have played for the University of North Dakota in the 2017-2018 season It includes everyone who has played at least one game, as well as all players who have been on the roster at any point during the season. Forwards are listed by their position (left wing, center, or right wing); defensemen are listed by their position (Left Defense or right defense); and goalies are listed by their position (starter or backup).

2017-2018 Und Hockey Roster

The 2017-2018 season was a historic one for the University of North Dakota men’s Hockey team The team finished the Regular Season with a record of 30-10-3, good for first place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. The team then went on to win the conference tournament defeating Minnesota Duluth in the Championship game This earned the team a berth in the NCAA tournament where they defeated Boston University in the first round before losing to eventual National Champion Minnesota Duluth in the quarterfinals.

Despite the early exit from the NCAA Tournament the 2017-2018 season was a success for UND, and there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the future. The team will return nearly all of its Key Players from last season, including forwards Brock Boeser and Shane Gersich, defensemen Christian Wolanin and Colton Poolman, and goaltender Cam Johnson Additionally, the team will welcome a strong freshman class that includes highly touted prospects JasperWeatherby and Gavin Hain. With another year of experience under their belts and a talented group of newcomers joining the fold, UND should be poised for another successful season in 2018-2019.

2017-2018 Und Hockey Off-Ice Staff

The 2017-2018 Und Hockey off-ice staff features strength and Conditioning Coach Tony Grande, Athletic Trainer Riley Keays and equipment manager Chris “Stretch” Czarnota.

Tony Grande has worked with the team for four seasons, helping the players to maximize their performance on the ice.

Riley Keays is in his second season with the team and is responsible for keeping the players healthy and on the ice.

Chris “Stretch” Czarnota is in his seventh season with the team and is responsible for making sure the players have all the equipment they need to be successful.

2017-2018 Und Hockey Media

The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team is set to open the 2017-2018 season with a exhibition game against the University of British Columbia on Friday, October 6th at 7:37 p.m. at Ralph Engelstad Arena. The regular season will open on Friday, October 13th when UND hosts Alaska Anchorage for a two-game series.

The roster is loaded with talent, including eight seniors, seven juniors, and six sophomores. The team will be looking to make a run at the program’s 17th Frozen Four appearance and ninth National Championship
