The 2021 college hockey Recruiting Rankings have been released, and there are some familiar names at the top.

Several weeks ago, we released our final rankings for the 2020-21 college hockey recruiting cycle. Since then, we’ve seen a few key commits and some movement in our rankings.
As we head into the summer months, it’s time to take a look at where each team stands in recruiting for the 2021-22 season We’ll be release our updated top 25 rankings later this week, but first, let’s break down each team’s recruiting class so far.
College hockey programs
USA Today/NHL Network released its final recruiting rankings for 2021 on Wednesday, and Minnesota Duluth is once again atop the list.
The Bulldogs, who have won two of the last three NCAA Championships landed the No. 1 spot for the third time in the last five years. They were also ranked No. 1 in 2019 and 2017.
North Dakota, which has won eight NCAA championships, is second on the list, followed by Boston College Denver and Notre Dame
The top five is rounded out by St. Cloud State Providence, Minnesota State Clarkson and Ohio State

Junior Hockey
Junior hockey is one of the most popular Youth Sports in the United States According to USA Hockey there are over 500,000 players between the ages of 6 and 18 playing in various junior leagues across the country.
The popularity of Junior hockey has led to an increase in college hockey recruiting rankings. These rankings are used by college coaches to identify and recruit the best junior Hockey Players in the country.
There are a number of different college hockey recruiting rankings systems, but they all generally agree on which players are the best in the country. Here is a look at some of the top-ranked junior hockey players in the country:

NCAA Hockey
In the United States college hockey refers to Ice Hockey played by student athletes at colleges and universities. There are three NCAA Division I ice hockey leagues: Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Hockey East and Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). The ECAC is made up of Ivy League schools plus a few other colleges from New England and Upstate New York The 10 schools in Hockey East are all located in New England with the exception of one school in New Jersey. The WCHA has both Midwestern and West Coast teams.

Hockey Canada is the governing body for hockey in Canada and is a member of the International ice hockey Federation. They are responsible for organizing and overseeing all levels of hockey in the country, from grassroots to professional.
