Trine has won three conference titles, in 2007, 2010, and 2012.

Team history

The Trine University men’s Hockey team is a NCAA Division III Ice Hockey program that represents Trine University. The Thunder are a member of the United Collegiate Hockey conference They play their home games at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Trine University has fielded a men’s hockey team since the 2006-2007 season. They have reached the NCAA Tournament twice in their history, in 2013 and 2015.

The Trine University men’s hockey team has some intense rivalries, both in and out of conference play Be sure to check out the schedule so you can catch all the action!
– vs. Adrian College These two teams have been battling it out on the ice since the early days of Trine Hockey. The intensity level is always high when they meet, so be sure to check it out!
– vs. Aquinas College This is a newer rivalry, but it’s already one of the most spirited in Division III hockey. The two teams play fast-paced, high-scoring games that are always a lot of fun to watch.
– vs. Davenport University: Davenport is Trine’s biggest rival in the Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League (GLCHL). The games between these two teams are always physical and fiercely competitive.

The Trine University men’s Hockey Team is ranked No. 2 in the nation in the latest poll by D3hockey.com.

The Thunder are coming off a weekend sweep of Adrian (Mich.) and are now 19-2-1 overall and 12-1-1 in the Midwest Collegiate Hockey League

Trine will host Marian (Wis.) on Friday, Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. at Ryan ice arena for its final home games of the season.
