Adrian Basketball – The Team

The Adrian Mens Basketball team is a NCAA Division III college basketball team that represents Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. The team is a member of the Michigan Collegiate Athletic Association and plays its home games at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. The Adrian Bulldogs have appeared in one NCAA Division III Mens Basketball Tournament

The team is currently coached by Nate Pieper who was hired on April 11, 2017. He is the 13th Head Coach in the programs history.

The Bulldogs play their home games at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center, which has a capacity of 1,200 people. The court at Merrillat is named after former head coach Gary Cousens.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team began competing in the sport in 1892. The program has produced two All-Americans: Art Ledyard (1922) and Jim Gregor (1965). Ledyard was also Adrian’s first basketball coach serving from 1919-1921. Cousens, who coached at Adrian from 1987-1995, is the school’s all-time winningest coach with 154 victories.

Adrian Basketball – The Rivalries

Adrian basketball is a men’s college basketball team that is part of Adrian College. The team competes in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and is a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

The team plays its home games at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center, which is located on the campus of Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. The compete in the MIAA conference and their main rivals are Albion, Olivet, and Trine.

The program has seen moderate success in recent years including winning the MIAA conference tournament in 2015 and appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2015. The team has also produced several All-Americans and Academic All-Americans.

In addition, Adrian College has been represented in the NCAA Division III men’s Basketball Tournament 25 times, including four trips to the Sweet Sixteen and one Elite Eight appearance.

The Adrian College men’s Basketball Program is proud to induct the following individuals into its Hall of Fame To be eligible for induction, a player must have played at least two seasons at Adrian College and must have been out of college for at least five years. A coach must have coached at least five years at Adrian College.

The Adrian College men’s basketball team represents Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. The school’s team currently competes in the NCAA Division III as a member of the West Conference The team plays its Home Games at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.

The Bulldogs have appeared in four NCAA Division III Tournaments. Their combined record is 44.
