As a three-time All-American and the All-time leading scorer in Kansas Basketball History Alonzo Jamison is one of the most accomplished players to ever don a Jayhawk uniform. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Jamison was a local legend long before he arrived on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence. As a High School senior, he was named the nation’s top player by USA Today and Parade Magazine. He was also a McDonald’s All-American, which made him just the third player from Kansas to receive that honor.
