Olympiacos, also known simply as Oly, is a Greek professional Basketball team that plays in the European Professional Basketball league known as the EuroLeague. The team is owned by the Greek sports club Olympiacos S.C.. Their home arena is the Peace and Friendship Stadium, located in Piraeus, Greece.

Olympiacos has won the most EuroLeague championships of any Greek club, having done so nine times out of thirteen total appearances in the competition’s Final Four. They currently hold the longest active streak of consecutive seasons played in the EuroLeague at 21 years (1997–present), a competition record which they claimed by surpassing their previous mark of 17 seasons (1989–2005), which had been tied with FC Barcelona and CSKA Moscow They have also won five times what is today known as the Greek League championship (1964–65, 1997–98, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2014–15), three Greek Cups (1993–94, 2015–16, 2016–17), four Hellenic Championships (1937, 1947–48 and 1954) and one Triple Crown title so far.

Baskonia is a Spanish professional basketball team that plays in the Euroleague. The team is based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, and plays its home games at the Fernando Buesa Arena.

Efes, also known as Anadolu Efes Istanbul, is a Turkish professional basketball team that is based in Istanbul, Turkey. The team competes in the EuroLeague and the Turkish basketball Super League. Efes has won the EuroLeague once, in 2000. They have also won the FIBA Saporta Cup once.

Efes was founded in 1976, and its first notable success came in 1995, when it reached the Final Four of the European-wide top-tier level FIBA European League (now called EuroLeague), which was held in Zaragoza, Spain; Efes eventually lost the third-place game to Union Olimpija with a 68–85 score. The next year, they were runners-up of the 1996 FIBA Saporta Cup final to PAOK.
