Welcome to Rice Baseball the best youth baseball organization in the Midwest! We are proud to offer Boys and Girls of all ages a chance to compete at the highest levels of play. Our mission is simple: to provide young athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills and grow their love for the game.

We offer a wide range of programs for players of all skill levels, from our introductory T-Ball leagues all the way up to our competitive travel teams. We also offer clinics and camps led by our expert Coaching Staff so there is always something new to learn.

The History of Beatrice Baseball

Rice baseball has a long and storied history dating back to the early days of the sport. The team has always been a powerhouse in the Midwest, and they have won numerous championships over the years.

The team got its start in 1869, when a group of local businessmen decided to form a club. They named the team after Beatrice, Nebraska, which was the nearest large town at the time. The team played its first game against a team from Omaha, and they won easily.

The team quickly became one of the best in the region, and they began to attract top talent from all over the country. In 1887, they signed their first professional player, pitcher George Bradley. Bradley went on to have a successful career with the team, and he is still considered one of the best players in franchise history.

The team continued to be successful throughout the early 20th century, winning several championships. In fact, they are still the only Midwest team to win three consecutive World Series titles (1907-1909).
