The Bonner baseball coaching Staff

The Bonner Baseball coaching staff is made up of some of the most experienced and successful coaches in the country. With a combined total of over 100 years of experience, these coaches have a wealth of knowledge to share with their players.

Head coach Mark Bonner has been with the team for over 15 years, and has led the team to two World Series titles. Assistant Coach Steve Johnson has also been with the team for 15 years, and has helped guide the team to three World Series titles. Rounding out the Coaching Staff are assistant coaches Mike Walsh and Davey Lopes, both of whom have been with the team for 10 years.

Under the guidance of this experienced and successful coaching staff the Bonner Baseball Team has become one of the most successful programs in the country. With their wealth of knowledge and experience, the coaches are able to develop each player to his full potential. As a result, the Bonner baseball team is consistently one of the top-ranked teams in the country.

The Bonner baseball facilities are top notch and provide our players with everything they need to compete at the highest level We have a brand new, state of the art indoor facility that is open year-round, allowing our players to train in any weather conditions. Our outdoor facilities are just as impressive, with a brand new Turf Field and a brand new practice facility. We also have a brand new weight room and training area for our players to use.

The Bonner Baseball History

Bonner Baseball first came into existence in 1957. The organization was started by a group of fathers who wanted to give their sons the opportunity to play organized baseball. They played their first games on a field that was located on the corner of 12th and Hamilton Streets in North Philadelphia. The organization grew quickly and soon had teams at all levels, from tee ball to seniors. In 1968, Bonner Baseball built its first permanent home on the site of the former Hamilton Army Airfield in Northeast Philadelphia. The complex consisted of four fields, a concession stand and a pavilion.

Over the years, Bonner Baseball has provided opportunities for thousands of young men to play baseball The league has produced many Major League players, including Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt More importantly, Bonner Baseball has instilled in its players the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
