Boston Celtics: NBA Trade Rumors

The Boston Celtics are one of the most storied franchises in NBA history With 17 NBA championships the Celtics have more titles than any other team in the league.

Kyrie Irving trade rumors

Kyrie Irving trade rumors have been circulating ever since he requested a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers The Boston Celtics have been one of the teams linked to Irving, and they have reportedly been willing to give up a lot to get him.

The Celtics have already made two major trades this offseason, acquiring Gordon Hayward and trading away Isaiah Thomas If they were to trade for Irving, they would likely have to give up one of their young assets, such as Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum

It remains to be seen if the Celtics will pull the trigger on a deal for Irving, but if they did, it would certainly shake up the NBA landscape.

Al Horford trade rumors

There have been many Trade Rumors surrounding Al Horford of the Boston Celtics Some believe that the Celtics are looking to trade Horford due to his large contract, while others believe that the Celtics are simply trying to create cap space Regardless of the reason, it is clear that the Celtics are exploring their options with Horford.

Horford is entering the final year of his contract, and is due to make $30 million next season. The 32-year-old center is coming off of a down year in which he averaged just 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game However, Horford is still a very solid player and would be a valuable addition to any team.

The Celtics have been linked to several different teams in Trade Rumors involving Horford. The most recent rumors have linked the Celtics to the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers. Both teams have young players and draft picks that the Celtics could use, and both teams also have the cap space to absorb Horford’s contract.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Horford, but it is clear that the Celtics are exploring their options. A trade could happen soon, orHorford could end up staying with the team for one more season. Either way, it will be interesting to see how this situation plays out.

Gordon Hayward trade rumors

Gordon Hayward has been the subject of trade rumors ever since he joined the Boston Celtics The most recent rumors have him being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Celtics are reportedly interested in trading Hayward for Lakers’ forward Kyle Kuzma Kuzma is a young player with a lot of potential and would be a good fit for the Celtics.

The Lakers are said to be interested in trading for Hayward because they believe he can help them make a run at an NBA Championship

Marcus Smart trade rumors

The Boston Celtics are one of the most active teams in the NBA Trade market, and their latest target is guard Marcus Smart

Smart, who is in the final year of his rookie contract, has been linked to a number of teams in recent weeks, including the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings

The Celtics are reportedly interested in trading for Smart, but they are not the only team with interest in the guard. The Pistons and Kings are also said to be interested in acquiring Smart.

The 24-year-old is averaging 10.1 points, 4.0 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game this season. He is shooting 36 percent from three-point range

Terry Rozier trade rumors

The Boston Celtics have been the center of NBA trade rumors lately, with many wondering if they will make a move before the February 7th trade deadline One player who has been the subject of rumors is point guard Terry Rozier.

Rozier, who is in the final year of his rookie contract, has seen his role decrease this season with the return of All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving from injury. Rozier is averaging 9.0 points and 3.9 assists in 22.7 minutes per game this season, down from last year’s averages of 11.3 points and 4.7 assists in 26.6 minutes per game.

With Irving expected to return to form next season and the Celtics having young guards like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum it’s possible that Rozier could be expendable in a trade. Rozier would be a valuable piece for a contending team looking for a backup point guard and the Celtics could use him as a bargaining chip to get another piece that they need for a potential run at an NBA title

Only time will tell if the Celtics do indeed make a trade involving Rozier or any other player on their roster, but it’s clear that they are willing to listen to offers as they look to improve their team for a championship push this season.

Jaylen Brown trade rumors

17 Jun 2020

The Boston Celtics may be ready to move on from Jaylen Brown.

According to Sean Deveney of Heavy, the Celtics are one of several teams that have been monitoring the trade market for Brown.

The 23-year-old winger is coming off a career year in which he averaged 20.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game

Brown is eligible for a contract extension this offseason and is reportedly seeking a max deal that would pay him approximately $25 million per year.

However, with the Celtics already committed to paying big money to star players Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, they may not be able to afford to keep Brown long-term.

If the Celtics do decide to trade Brown, they will likely seek a package that includes a young player and/or draft picks in return.

Jayson Tatum trade rumors

The Boston Celtics have been one of the most active teams in the NBA Trade Rumors this season. The team has been linked to several star players, including Anthony Davis and Kemba Walker However, the most recent rumors have centered around Jayson Tatum

Tatum is one of the most talented young players in the league, and he has already established himself as a key piece of the Celtics’ future. However, with Davis and Walker also on the roster, some have speculated that Tatum could be traded in order to help balance out the team’s roster.

Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has remained tight-lipped on the team’s trade plans, but he did say that he is open to making a move if it would improve the team.

“We’re always open-minded to improving our team,” Ainge said during a recent interview. “If there’s a trade that makes sense for us, we’ll do it.”

The Celtics are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 35-15 record. It remains to be seen if they will make a move before the February 6 Trade Deadline but they certainly have the pieces to make a splash.

Daniel Theis trade rumors

NBA Trade Rumors have been swirling around Boston Celtics big man Daniel Theis. Theis is in the final year of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Theis has been a key part of the Celtics’ success over the past few seasons, but with the team’s wealth of frontcourt talent, he may be expendable. The 27-year-old is averaging 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game this season.

The Celtics reportedly attempted to trade Theis last offseason, but no deal materialized. It remains to be seen if they will try to move him again before the February 6 trade deadline

Guerschon Yabusele trade rumors

The Boston Celtics are reportedly listening to trade offers for big man Guerschon Yabusele, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Yabusele, 23, has seen his role diminish with the Celtics this season. He’s played in only 13 games and is averaging 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.4 minutes per game.

The 2016 first-round pick (16th overall) has seen his minutes dip each year since he entered the league. He averaged 4.3 minutes per game as a rookie, then 6.1 minutes per game in 2017-18 and 3.8 minutes per game last season.

It’s unclear what kind of interest there is in Yabusele, but the Celtics are likely looking to unload his $3.1 million salary for next season as they try to clear space under the luxury tax threshold.

Robert Williams trade rumors

The Boston Celtics selected Robert Williams with the 27th pick in the 2018 NBA draft and he’s been the subject of Trade Rumors ever since. Williams, who plays center and Power Forward is a talented young player with a lot of potential, but he’s struggled to stay healthy and on the court during his first two seasons in the NBA.

The Celtics have been one of the most active teams in trade rumors this season, and Williams has been mentioned as a potential piece in a deal for Houston Rockets center Clint Capela or Charlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward. However, it’s unlikely that the Celtics would trade Williams for either of those players, as they would be acquiring players who are older and more established than Williams.

If the Celtics do decide to trade Williams, it will likely be for a young player or Draft Picks that can help them rebuild for the future.
