The 111 points scored by Bradley is the most points scored by the team in a season opener since they joined Division I in 1984. The previous record was 103 points, set in 1986 against Loyola (Chicago).
The Braves were led by senior forward Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Ja’Shon Henry also had a great game scoring 20 points off the bench.

Senior forward Elijah Childs also had a big game chipping in 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The win is a confidence booster for the team as they head into the rest of their non-Conference Schedule They will look to build on this performance as they take on another Illinois school, Northern Illinois University, next Saturday.
