Introduction

The Bryant Basketball Schedule has been announced and the team is looking forward to another great season. The schedule includes games against some of the best teams in the country, including Kentucky, Duke, and North Carolina

The Bryant basketball Schedule

The Bryant Bulldogs are a Division I college basketball team that plays in the East Conference The team is currently coached by Jared Grasso and plays its home games at the Chace Athletic Center on campus in Smithfield, Rhode Island The Bulldogs have appeared in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament four times, most recently in 2019.

The Bulldogs finished the 2019–20 season 20–12, 11–5 in NEC play to finish in second place. As the No. 2 seed in the 2020 NEC Men’s Basketball Tournament they defeated No. 7 St. Francis Brooklyn and No. 3 Sacred Heart to advance to the Championship game where they lost to Robert Morris

The Games

The Bryant Bulldogs are scheduled to play thirty-two regular season games in the 2019-2020 Season The non-conference portion of the schedule will feature games against foes such as UCLA, Kentucky, and North Carolina After playing in the 2k Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden Bryant will return home for a four game homestand that features games against Wagner, Niagara, and Buffalo. The Bulldogs will look to avenge last year’s early tournament exit when they travel to Albany to take on the Great Danes in the first round of this year’s NCAA tournament

The Players

The 2017–18 Bryant Bulldogs men’s Basketball team represented Bryant University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men’s Basketball season The Bulldogs, led by second-year Head Coach Jared Grasso, played their home games at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, Rhode Island as members of the East Conference They finished the season 18–16, 10–8 in NEC play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. As the No. 4 seed in the NEC Tournament, they defeated Sacred Heart and Wagner to advance to the Championship game where they lost to Liu Brooklyn

The Bulldogs return four of their five starters from last season. Senior guard Bosko Kostur was named the preseason NEC Player of the Year and senior forward Nisre Zouzoua was named to the preseason All-NEC team.

The Fans

The Bryant Basketball Schedule is out, and fans are ready to see their team take to the court. The Bulldogs are looking to build on their strong showing from last season, when they made it all the way to the NCAA Tournament

The Arena

Bryant University is home to the Bulldogs, and their men’s basketball team plays their home games in the Chace Athletic Center, more commonly known as the Arena. The Arena has a capacity of 3,100 people and is located on campus in Smithfield, Rhode Island The first game played in the Arena was on November 19, 1988, and since then it has undergone several renovations.

The History

The History of the Bryant Men’s Basketball Schedule is long and full of excitement. The very first game was a match against Yale University in 1904. This game took place at Madison Square Garden and resulted in a victory for Bryant. For the next few years, the team played against various schools in the Northeast region including Princeton, Dartmouth, and Columbia. The first official season was in 1908-1909 when the team posted a record of 7-3.

The first big rivalries began to develop in the 1920s. These included games against such teams as Holy Cross Boston College and Providence College These rivalries continue to this day and are a big part of what makes Bryant Basketball so special.

In recent years the team has continued to excel both on and off the court. Under head coach Tim O’Shea, the team has made it to 3 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournaments In 2014, they made it all the way to the Round of 32 before losing to eventual National Champions Connecticut.

The 2017-2018 season looks to be just as promising with several key returning players and some talented new recruits joining the squad. Make sure to check out the schedule so you don’t miss a single game!

The Rivalries

In basketball, a rivalry is a match-up between two teams that have a history of bad blood between them. The teams involved in a rivalry often have a deep-seeded hatred for one another, which can make for some exciting basketball games

The Bryant Bulldogs have some stiff competition in their conference, and they have a few rivalries of their own. Here are some of the Bryant Bulldogs’ most heated rivalries.

The first is with the St. John’s Red Storm The Red Storm and the Bulldogs have been battling it out on the court for over 50 years, and there is no love lost between these two teams. The second is with the Providence Friars These two teams have been playing each other since the early 1900s, and they have developed a strong dislike for one another over the years.

Finally, the third rivalry is with the Seton Hall Pirates. The Pirates and the Bulldogs have been playing each other since 1979, and they have developed a strong dislike for one another over the years.

The Future

The future of the Bryant Basketball Schedule is currently unknown. The team’s 2017-2018 campaign was cancelled due to a lack of interest from potential opponents, and the team is still in the process of finding a new conference. However, the Bulldogs have recently begun scheduling games for the 2018-2019 season, and they appear to be committed to rebuilding the program.
