The Campbell Lady Camels are set to make their first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning the Big South conference tournament The 11th seeded Lady Camels will take on 6th seeded Marquette in the first round of the tournament on Friday, March 22nd.
This is a huge accomplishment for a program that has only been in existence since 2013. Head Coach Gregg Nibert and his team have worked extremely hard to put Campbell women’s basketball on the map, and they are finally being rewarded for their efforts.
The Lady Camels have had a great season, finishing with a record of 23-8. They will enter the NCAA Tournament on a four-game Winning Streak which includes their victory over Radford in the Big South Conference Championship game

The Campbell Lady Camels are headed to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history! They will take on the Louisville Cardinals in the first round on Friday, March 22.
The Lady Camels have had an incredible season, finishing with a 28-4 record overall and a 13-3 conference record. They were conference regular season champions and conference tournament runners-up.

The Campbell University women’s basketball team is headed to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history! The 11th-seeded Lady Camels will take on sixth-seeded Maryland in the first round on Friday, March 22.
Campbell, which is located in Buies Creek, North Carolina earned an at-large bid to the 64-team field after going 26-6 on the season. The Lady Camels finished second in the Atlantic Sun Conference behind regular season champion Florida Gulf Coast
This will be Campbell’s first appearance in the NCAA Tournament The Lady Camels made it to the semifinals of the WNIT in 2008 and 2009, but this is their first trip to the big dance.
Head coach Wanda Wilcox is in her 17th season at Campbell, and she has led the team to eight 20-win seasons and six appearances in the WNIT. Wilcox was named the Atlantic Sun Coach of the Year following this season.
The Lady Camels are led by senior guard Kayla Cook, who was named First Team All-Atlantic Sun Cook averaged 15.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this season.
Campbell will have its work cut out for it when they take on Maryland, which finished 27-4 on the season and won both the Regular Season and Conference Tournament titles in the Big Ten Conference. The Terrapins are ranked ninth in the nation according to the latest AP poll released on Monday morning.

The Campbell University women’s Basketball team has been selected to participate in the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament it was announced on Monday Night This is the first time in school history that the Lady Camels have earned a berth into the NCAA tournament
The Lady Camels, who finished the regular season with a 22-4 overall record and a 17-1 mark in league play, will be making their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament The team earned an at-large berth into the tournament and will be one of 64 teams competing for the national title.
Campbell will open up NCAA Tournament play on Saturday, March 20 against Florida State The game will tip off at 11:00 a.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

The 2020-2021 Season has been another successful one for the Lady Camels, as they finished with a 21-4 overall record and a 13-3 record in conference play The team earned a #4 seed in the NCAA tournament and will face off against #13 seed James Madison in the first round on Sunday, March 21st.
This is Campbell’s sixth appearance in the NCAA tournament and fourth consecutive appearance. The team will be looking to make some noise in this year’s tournament and advance to the second round for the first time since 2018.
