After a disappointing 2018-19 campaign in which the Central Dauphin boys basketball team went 11-12 and failed to make the District 3 playoffs, expectations are on the rise for the Rams heading into the 2019-20 season

Central Dauphin, which is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, will be looking to improve upon last year’s record and make a return to the district tournament The Rams are led by a strong group of returning players, including seniors Jaden Booker ( guard) andf Mishelof Lotty ( forward).

Booker and Lotty will be joined by junior Jibreel Davis ( guard), who was one of the team’s leading scorers last season. Other Key Players include senior guard Nate Jones and junior forward Tre Woodyard.

The Piaa District 3 boys Basketball Tournament is always a highly anticipated event. The Rams did not disappoint, winning the tournament and earning a spot in the State Tournament

The Championship

In 2017, the Central Dauphin Basketball team won their first ever District 3 Championship and advanced to the state tournament for the first time in program history. The Rams had a historic season, finishing with a 26-4 record.

This was a huge accomplishment for a program that had never won more than 15 games in a season prior to 2017. The team was led by Head Coach Mark loyalty and senior guard Jevon Carter, who went on to play Division I Basketball at West Virginia University.
