Every college has their traditions, and Clemson is no different. Some of our most popular traditions include rubbing Howard’s Rock, running down The Hill, and rolling Toomer’s Corner. These traditions help to create a unique atmosphere that Clemson fans have come to know and love.
Another one of our favorite traditions is tailgating. Tailgating is a time-honored tradition that allows fans to show their support for the team. It is also a great way to meet other fans and enjoy some delicious food.

The Future
As the 2021 season comes to a close, we turn our attention to next year. The future is bright for Clemson Baseball as the core group of this year’s team will be back, plus we will have some key newcomers that should make an immediate impact.
The pitching staff will be led by Sophomore All-American Jacob Hennessy. Hennessy was one of the best pitchers in the country this season and will look to build on that success next year. Joining him at the top of the rotation will be Junior right-hander Ryan Miller. Miller had a breakout season this year and should be one of the top pitchers in the ACC next season.
The bullpen will be anchored by Junior closer Blakeley Fox. Fox had an outstanding season this year, saving 10 games while striking out over a batter per inning. He will be joined by Sophomores Will Helms and Tanner Maxwell, who both had great years out of the bullpen.
The lineup will be led by Junior catcher Blaze Jordan Jordan was one of the best hitting catchers in the country this season, batting .325 with 15 home runs and 55 RBIs. He will be joined by Sophomores Sam Hall and Riley Greene, who both had terrific seasons at the plate. This is a team that has a chance to do big things next season and we can’t wait to see what they can do!
Conclusion
Clemson Baseball will look to return to the College World Series in 2022 after a disappointing end to the 2021 season. The Tigers will have a lot of talent returning, including starting pitcher Matty Maureen and outfielder Sam Hall. With a strong recruiting class coming in, Clemson should be a force to be reckoned with next season.
