With the Spring Sports season just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at the Cloud County Baseball Team The T-Birds are coming off a successful 2018 campaign in which they went 27-8 overall and won their second consecutive conference title

This year’s team will be looking to build on that success, and they have the talent to do so. The T-Birds have several returning starters, including all-conference catcher Tyler Lewis. They also have a strong pitching staff, led by ace Cole Stephens.

With a talented roster and a strong Coaching Staff the T-Birds are poised for another Successful Season Be sure to catch them in action this spring!

A look at the Cloud County Baseball team

Cloud County Community College’s baseball team is gearing up for their upcoming season The team is led by Head Coach Aaron Emmick, who is entering his sixth season at the helm of the T-Birds.

This year’s squad will feature a mix of experienced upperclassmen and talented newcomers, as the team looks to build on last year’s success.

Leading the way for the T-Birds will be a trio of all-conference performers from a year ago in second baseman Tanner Johnson, outfielder Braydon Combs and pitcher Blake Prideaux.

Johnson, a sophomore from Wichita, was one of the top hitters in the conference last season, batting .353 with five home runs and 30 RBIs. Combs, a junior from Olathe, was an outstanding defender in center field while also hitting .308 with three homers and 27 RBIs. Prideaux, a right-handed pitcher from Marysville, went 5-2 with a 3.12 ERA in 12 starts last season.

The T-Birds will also have several other key returners in the mix this season, including pitchers Kaden Beatty and CollinSherwin, infielder Logan Registrar and outfielders Heath Peterson and Reece Hirschvogel.

As the Cloud County baseball team’s season approaches, there is much anticipation surrounding the squad. The team is coming off a very successful campaign in which they made it all the way to the state championship game. Despite coming up just short in that contest, there is still a lot of optimism surrounding this year’s team. head coach John Smith has said that he believes this group has the potential to be even better than last year’s squad.

The team will be led by a strong group of seniors, including pitcher Jake Johnson and infielder Ryan Murphy Johnson was named first-team all-state last year after posting a 9-1 record with a 2.48 ERA. Murphy was also named first-team all-state after hitting .333 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. Other key seniors include catcher Josh Baker and outfielder Matt Brown

A look at the Cloud County Baseball team’s schedule

The Cloud County Baseball team will be playing its first game of the season on March 3rd. The team’s schedule is as follows:

March 3rd: vs. Barton Community College
March 5th: vs. Dodge City Community College
March 7th: vs. Hutchinson Community College
March 10th-12th: at Garden City Community College Classic
March 14th: vs. Coffeyville Community College
March 17th: at Neosho County Community College
March 21st-24th: vs. Pratt Community College (4 games)
March 28th: at Butler Community College

The Cloud County Baseball team’s opponents

Cloud County will be playing a total of 34 games this season, with 17 of those being at home and 17 being away. Out of their 34 games, 24 will be against conference opponents. They will play all six teams in their division four times each, and they will play the other four teams in their conference two times each. The remaining 10 games will be played against non-conference opponents.

As for who those opponents are, the T-Birds will open up their season on the road against Butler Community College on February 2nd. They will then have a four-game home stand against Coffeyville Community College Ellsworth Community College Hutchinson Community College and Seward County Community College

The Cloud County baseball team will be playing their home games at the Diamond Sports Complex this season. The team is made up of players from all over the country, and they are excited to get started on their season. The team’s goal is to win the conference championship and they are looking forward to a great season.

This year, the team’s away games will be against some tough competition. Their first game is against the Douglas College Royals, a team that made it to the playoffs last year. The Cloud County team is prepared for a challenge, but they’re confident that they can come out on top.

The next game is against the Centralia College Blazers, a team that’s always been a tough opponent for Cloud County. The Blazers have a strong batting lineup, but theCloud County pitchers are ready to take them on.

The third away game is against the Hawksworth Institute of Technology Tigers. This will be a tough match-up, but Cloud County is up for the challenge. They’ve been working hard on their defense and they’re ready to show Hawksworth what they’re made of.

The Cloud County Baseball team’s players

The Cloud County baseball team is made up of 25 members. Eighteen of those are returners from last year’s team, which went 22-24 overall and 13-11 in conference play The team will be led by two captains, senior third baseman Kyle Marsh and junior pitcher Tyler McKee.

This season, the Cloud County Baseball Team will be led by a new coaching staff Head Coach Jake Solomon comes to Cloud County after spending the last four seasons as an Assistant Coach at the University of Nebraska Coach Solomon is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska and played college baseball at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game, and he is excited to bring his passion for the sport to Cloud County.

Assistant coaches Matt Kincaid and Trenton Osborn round out the Coaching Staff Coach Kincaid comes to Cloud County after spending the last two seasons as Head coach at Grand Island Central Catholic High School A native of Grand Island, Nebraska, he played college baseball at North Platte Community College and was a four-year letterwinner. Coach Osborn comes to Cloud from Hastings College, where he spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach He is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and played college baseball at Seward County Community College and Hastings College.

With a mix of experience and youth on the coaching staff the Cloud County baseball team is poised for a successful season.
