2017-18 Schedule

The 2017–18 Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team represented the University of Colorado in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men’s Basketball season The Buffaloes were led by Head Coach Tad Boyle in his eighth year, and played their home games at the Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colorado as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 24–11, 11–7 in Pac-12 play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament to Oregon. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Dayton in the First Round before losing to Florida State in the Second Round.

Away Games

The University of Colorado men’s Basketball team will play five of their first eight games of the season on the road, including three straight away games in early December. The first road game of the season will be against the University of Dayton on November 8th, followed by a game against Xavier University on November 12th. The team will then travel to Hawaii to participate in the Pearl Harbor Invitational tournament, where they will play three games against St. Mary’s College, University of Missouri and either UC Santa Barbara or host school University of Hawaii After returning from Hawaii, the Buffaloes will have a short break before resuming their conference schedule with three straight road games against Oregon State University Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans

The Mountain West Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament is an annual postseason college basketball tournament for the Mountain West Conference The tournament has been held every year since 1997.

NCAA Tournament Schedule

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is a single-elimination tournament played each spring in the United States currently featuring 68 college basketball teams from the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the National Championship The tournament was created in 1939 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was the idea of Ohio State coach Harold Olsen. Played mostly during March, it has become one of the most famous sporting events in the United States
