It’s that time of year again! The Columbia Basketball Schedule has been announced, and we’re here to give you a quick overview.

The Lions will open their season at home against Stony Brook on November 10th. They’ll then hit the road for a tough stretch, with games against Penn State Purdue, and Syracuse. They’ll return home for a December 1st matchup against Manhattan, before heading back out on the road for games against Missouri and Arkansas.

They’ll wrap up their non-Conference Schedule with a Home game against Hofstra on December 29th.

In conference play they’ll face off against some of the best teams in the country, including Kentucky, Florida, and Texas A&M. They’ll also have some key matchups against conference foes like Vanderbilt, Georgia, and Ole Miss

The Lions will open their season at home against UMass on November 10th. This will be followed by a string of away games, including matchups against St. John’s, Yale, Brown, and Penn. Columbia will then return home to face Cornell on December 1st.

The subsequent two months will see the Lions take on some of the toughest teams in the Ivy League including Princeton, Harvard, and Dartmouth. Columbia will also have a chance to cement their position at the top of the standings with key home games against Cornell and Penn.

Looking at the schedule as a whole, it is clear that Columbia will have their work cut out for them if they want to repeat as Ivy League champions. The Columbia Basketball Schedule is out, and there are some great games to watch for. Here are some of the highlights:

The Lions will open their season at home against Brown on November 10th. This will be a good test for the young team, as Brown is a perennial Ivy League power.

On November 17th, the Lions will travel to take on Navy. Navy is coming off a strong season in which they won the Patriot League regular season title. This will be a tough game for Columbia.

Thanksgiving weekend will see the Lions take on two local rivals, Princeton and Penn. First, they’ll take on Princeton at home on Friday, November 24th. Then, they’ll travel to Penn on Sunday, November 26th. These are always two tough games, and it will be interesting to see how the Lions fare against their Ancient Eight foes.

December will see the Lions take on some non-conference foes, including Buffalo (away), Albany (away), and Wagner (home). These games will be important for the Lions to build their résumé for March Madness

In January, the Lions open up Ivy League play with a home game against Dartmouth on the 6th. They’ll then travel to take on Harvard and Yale on the 13th and 14th respectively. These three games will be critical for Columbia as they look to contend for an Ivy League title this season.

The remainder of the schedule is filled with more Ancient Eight action, as well as some marquee non-conference match-ups including Stony Brook (away), Manhattan (home), and UMass (home).
