In High School Courtney excelled on the court. He led his high school team to a state championship and was named Mr. Basketball in Florida. After high school Courtney received offers from many colleges to play basketball but he decided to follow in his sister’s footsteps and attend Florida State University.

Courtney Barwick is a basketball star who played for the University of Connecticut Huskies women’s basketball team She helped lead the team to four NCAA Division I Women’s basketball championships and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four in 2009. Barwick was also a member of the USA Basketball Women’s national team winning a gold medal at the 2010 FIBA World Championship

College Career

Courtney Barwick played college basketball at the University of Connecticut from 2008 to 2012. During her time there, she was a four-time All-American and helped lead the Huskies to two NCAA National Championships in 2009 and 2010. After her college career ended, she was drafted by the Seattle Storm in the 2012 NBA draft

In 2008, Barwick was signed by the Seattle Storm as a free agent She played Europe for a while before being drafted by the Tulsa Shock in the third round of the 2010 NBA Draft After being waived by the Shock, she was picked up by the Chicago Sky
