The Crabs are a minor League Baseball team based in Crabtown, USA.

Since their formation in 2013, the Crabs have been one of the most successful teams in minor league baseball They have won four division titles and two league championships, and have qualified for the playoffs in five of their six seasons.

The Crabs play their home games at Crabby Field, which is located just outside of Crabtown. The ballpark has a capacity of 10,000 fans, and is known for its unique crab-shaped scoreboard.

The Crabs’ History

The Crabs are a minor league baseball team in the independent Eastern League The team, which plays its home games in Monterey, California, was founded in 1995. The team is named for the abundance of crab found in the area.

The Crabs were one of the original six teams in the Eastern League which began play in 1996. The Crabs won the League Championship in 1998, their second season of play. In 1999, the team finished with the best record in the league, but lost in the playoffs to eventual champion Bangor Lumberjacks.

In 2000, the Crabs again had the best record in the league, but this time they won the playoffs and were crowned champions. The team repeated as champions in 2001 and 2002. In 2003, they made it to the playoffs but lost in the semifinals.

The Crabs have been home to several Major League Baseball players over the years, including Jack Cust, Matt Holliday, and Jason Bay.

The Crabs’ Coaching Staff

Crab’s Head Coach is Ryan McCarthy

The Crabs have a new head coach this season, Ryan McCarthy. McCarthy has coached at the collegiate and professional level for over 20 years. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge to offer the team and is excited to get started.

The Coaching Staff also includes Assistant Coach Brian Smith and Pitching Coach Jeff Myers. Smith has been with the team for two seasons and brings a wealth of experience to the position. Myers is in his first season with the Crabs and is looking forward to helping the team compete for a championship.

The Crabs’ Ballpark

The Crabs’ Ballpark is located at 1775 N. Regent Street, Alameda, CA 94501. The ballpark is accessible by the Fruitvale, Stadium, and San Leandro BART stations. The Crabs offer a variety of food options at the ballpark including hot dogs hamburgers, pretzels, nachos, peanuts, Cracker Jacks ice cream and more.
