Curtis Brown’s hockey career
Curtis Brown is a great hockey player He was born in 1963 in Toronto, Ontario, and began playing hockey at a young age. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1981 to 1993, and then for the Chicago Blackhawks from 1994 to 1997. Curtis Brown was a member of the Canadian national team at the 1984 and 1987 World Championships winning a silver medal in 1984. He retired from hockey in 1998.

Curtis Brown was drafted in the fourth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres He played college hockey at the University of Michigan where he was a two-time All-American. Brown also played for the United States at the 1994 and 1996 World Junior Championships, winning a silver medal in 1994.
Brown made his NHL debut with the Sabres during the 1995-96 season, and went on to play parts of eight seasons with Buffalo. He also had stints with the Chicago Blackhawks San Jose Sharks and Nashville Predators In all, Brown appeared in 544 NHL games scoring 92 goals and adding 154 assists.
Brown retired from hockey in 2006, but remains involved in the game as a coach and development consultant. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.

Brown also played in 56 Stanley Cup Playoff Games scoring 11 goals and 24 points.

Curtis Brown was a great Hockey Player He played in the NHL for 16 seasons, and was a member of the Stanley Cup winning team in 2000. He also won an Olympic gold medal in 1998.
Although he was never the league’s leading scorer, he was a consistent point-producer and two-way player He was named to the NHL All-Star team three times, and won the Selke Trophy as the league’s best defensive forward in 2002.
He retired from playing in 2009, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.

As a center, Curtis Brown was known for his hustle and determination on both ends of the ice. He was an important part of the Chicago Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup run in 2010, scoring the game-winning goal in Game 6 of the Finals.
