The D1 Baseball injury report is a compilation of all the key injuries that are affecting the Game of Baseball right now.
In baseball, the Field of 64 is the group of teams that compete in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament The tournament starts with 64 teams, which are divided into four regional brackets. After each team has played three games, the field is whittled down to 16, then eight, then four, until only two remain to compete in the Championship Series
To find out which schools will be competing in this year’s tournament, consult our D1 Baseball Projected Field of 64. This list includes all the teams that we think have a shot at making it to the big dance.
As the college baseball season comes to a close, conference tournaments will soon decide which teams will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship The remaining 36 spots in the tournament will be at-large selections, with the field of 64 being announced on Monday, May 27.

As the 2021 college baseball season enters its final stretch, there are still many questions about which teams will make the field of 64 for the NCAA Tournament
At this point, there are a few schools that appear to be locks to earn a top seed in the tournament. Vanderbilt is the overall No. 1 team in the nation according to most major polls and projections, and they have a strong case to be a top seed. The Commodores are currently 26-5 overall and 14-4 in SEC play, and they have wins over some of the other top teams in the country such as Louisville, UCLA, Mississippi State and Georgia.
Oregon State is another team that looks like a lock to earn a top seed. The Beavers are 27-4 overall and 15-3 in Pac-12 play, and they have some impressive wins on their resume as well including series victories over then-No. 2 Stanford and then-No. 3 Arizona State They also have a road win over No. 8 Arkansas from earlier in the season.
There are several other teams that are in contention for a top seed, but they will likely need to win their conference tournament to secure it. Louisville is currently 27-6 overall and 17-3 in ACC play, but they missed out on an opportunity to win the regular season title when they were swept by Duke last weekend. The Cardinals do have some impressive non-conference wins though including victories over Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma State Michigan, Creighton, East Carolina and Connecticut.
Mississippi State is also in contention for a top seed after winning the SEC Regular Season title with a record of 24-8 overall and 16-7 in conference play The Bulldogs had some big wins during conference play including series victories over then-No. 1 Vanderbilt, Auburn, Texas A&M, Ole Miss Arkansas, and Florida. They also have series losses to LSU and Georgia though which could hurt their chances at a top seed.
Other teams that are still alive for a top seed include UCLA (25-7 overall), Georgia (24-9 overall), Arizona State (23-9 overall), Florida (22-10 overall), Stanford (23 12 overall), TCU (22 11 overall), Illinois (26 5 overall), Ohio State (27 6 overall) ,and Southern Miss (31 4).
As the college baseball season enters its final stages, many fans are beginning to wonder which teams will make it into the NCAA tournament The tournament, also known as the College World Series is a double-elimination tournament that features the top 64 teams in Division 1 college baseball
While there is still much uncertainty surrounding the Field of 64, there are a few teams that seem like locks to make the tournament. These include Florida, UCLA, Mississippi State Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech Louisville, and Texas Tech
There are also a number of teams that are on the bubble and will likely need to win their conference tournaments in order to secure a spot in the NCAA tournament These include Oregon State USC, Miami (FL), Arkansas, and TCU.
Finally, there are a few teams that are long-shots to make the tournament but could potentially sneak in with a strong finish to their season. These include Arizona State Pittsburgh, and Virginia.
10)
10) Florida State The Seminoles have been one of the most consistent programs in recent memory. They are always in the mix for a top spot in the ACC and have made the NCAA tournament in each of the last 22 years. This season, they will once again be led by star shortstop Mike Martin Jr.
