The Dbu Baseball Record: A Historical Perspective

The Dallas Baptist University baseball team has a storied history, dating back to their founding in 1898. The program is one of the most successful in the nation, with twelve conference championships and five trips to the College World Series The team is currently a Division I Independent school.

In recent years the team has struggled to find its place in the Conference Standings In 2016, the team had a record of 17-34-1 (10-20 in conference play), good for last place in the conference. The team rebounded in 2017, finishing second in the conference with a record of 35-23 (22-8 in conference play). However, they were unable to make it back to the postseason and missed out on the conference tournament

The 2018 season was a mixture of highs and lows for DBU. They started off strong, going 15-5 in their first 20 games. However, they then went on a skid, losing 14 of their next 18 games. They finished the season with a record of 29-29 (14-16 in conference play), good for seventh place in the conference. Despite their up-and-down season, they managed to make it back to the conference tournament where they lost in the first round.

The 2019 season was much of the same for DBU Baseball. They started off strong again, going 15-5 in their first 20 games before cooling off and finishing with a record of 30-28 (16-14 in conference play), good for sixth place in the conference. They made it back to the Conference Tournament but lost in the first round once again.
