The Eastern View basketball team is one of the best in the nation. They are led by their superstar point guard Jeremy Lin The team is looking to make a run at the National Championship this year, and they have a great chance to do so. Here are some of the must see games this season.
Game 1: Duke vs. North Carolina
This game is always a must-see, as these two teams battle it out for bragging rights in the state of North Carolina Duke is currently ranked #1 in the country, while North Carolina is not far behind at #5. This will be a great game to watch, as both teams are loaded with talent.
Game 2: Kentucky vs. Louisville
The Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Louisville Cardinals in the second game of the season. This will be a rematch of last year’s NCAA championship game, which Kentucky won. Louisville will be looking to exact some revenge, and this should be a great game
Game 3: UCLA vs. USC
The third game on our list is the much-anticipated match-up between UCLA and USC. These two teams are bitter rivals, and the trash talk has already begun leading up to this game. Both teams have had successful seasons so far, but this is the first time they will face off against each other. The winner of this game will take home bragging rights until they meet again next season.
Game 4: Indiana vs. Purdue
This will be the fourth meeting between these two schools this season. The Boilermakers have won two of the three games, with the most recent victory coming in the Big Ten tournament final. These two teams know each other well, and it should be another close game Indiana is led by senior guard James Blackmon Jr., who is averaging 17.3 points per game Purdue is led by sophomore guard Carsen Edwards who is averaging 18.5 points per game This should be a great game to watch, and it will be interesting to see how these two teams match up against each other.
Game 5: Kansas vs. Texas
Eastern View Basketball will be hosting Kansas vs. Texas on December 12th. This will be the fifth game of the season and will be one not to miss. Texas is currently undefeated in conference play and is ranked number two in the nation. while Kansas is just outside the top 25.
Game 6: Syracuse vs. Georgetown
The Syracuse-Georgetown rivalry is one of the biggest in college basketball These two teams have a long history of success, with a combined 29 NCAA tournament appearances and 12 Final Fours between them. This matchup always brings out the best in both teams, and this year should be no different. Syracuse is currently ranked #4 in the country, while Georgetown is unranked but still dangerous. This game will be played at Georgetown’s home court the Verizon Center, on February 27th.
Game 7: Michigan State vs. Ohio State
This game is always a battle, no matter what the records are coming into the contest. These are two of the top programs in college basketball and they do not like each other. The atmosphere in the arena will be electric and these two teams will leave it all on the floor. This is a must see game.
Game 8: Connecticut vs. Villanova
The 8th game of the season features the Connecticut Huskies vs. the Villanova Wildcats This will be a matchup of two of the top teams in the conference and will surely be a must-see game. The Huskies are coming off of a Big Win against Syracuse and will look to continue their winning ways against the Wildcats. The Wildcats, on the other hand, are coming off of a tough loss to Xavier and will look to get back on track with a win against Connecticut.
Game 9: Florida vs. Kentucky
This is a matchup of two of the best teams in the country. Kentucky is led by star freshman forward Bam Adebayo, who is averaging 13 points and eight rebounds per game Florida is led by junior guard KeVaughn Allen, who is averaging 17 points per game This game will be a battle of two very good defenses, as both teams rank in the top 25 in the country in points allowed per game.
