Elac Basketball Roster Changes
The East Los Angeles College men’s basketball team has seen a lot of changes this off-season. The most notable change is the departure of Head Coach John Mosley, who left to take an assistant coaching position at San Diego State University Coach Mosley was replaced by interim head coach Mitch Meeuwsen, who will serve as Head Coach for the upcoming season
In addition to the coaching change, the team has also seen a number of player departures and additions. The departures include last year’s leading scorer, guard Jordan Barnett, who transferred to San Diego State University; forward TJ Taylor, who transferred to Loyola Marymount University; and guard Malik Ross, who is no longer with the team.
The team has added several new players, including guard Jaylin Avinger (transfer from Sierra College), forward Trevonnie Coleman (transfer from Citrus College), and guard Trayvon Williams (freshman).

The Elac men’s Basketball team has seen some changes in the offseason, with several new players coming in and some Key Players leaving. Here is a breakdown of the roster for the upcoming season
Gone are last year’s leading scorer Jalen Riley, as well as starting point guard Jordan Cintron. Both players were instrumental in the team’s success last season, and their departures will leave some big shoes to fill.
However, the team has brought in several new players who are expected to make an immediate impact. junior college transfer Anthony Davis is a 6’5” guard who averaged 18 points per game last season. He will be joined by fellow Junior College transfer David Freeman, a 6’8” forward who averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game
The team also has several new faces from the High School ranks. guard Jonathan Fuller is a four-star recruit who was ranked as the No. 13 point guard in the country by ESPN. He will be joined by shooting guard Tyree Crump, who was ranked as the No. 46 shooting guard in the country by 247Sports.
