But before the puck drops on opening night, let’s take a moment to get to know the Everblades faithful. From die-hard diehards to casual fans, Everblades hockey attracts all kinds of supporters. Here’s a quick guide to some of the most common types of fans you’ll find at an Everblades game.

The Diehard: This fan lives and breathes Everblades hockey. They know every player on the team, can tell you all about the history of the franchise, and have probably been to more games than anyone else in the arena. When the Diehard isn’t at an Everblades game, they’re probably working on their ever-growing collection of team memorabilia.

The Casual Fan: The Casual Fan is usually someone who doesn’t follow hockey closely but enjoys coming to an occasional game. They might not know all the rules of the sport, but they like cheering on their local team and spending time with friends at the arena. Even if they don’t always understand what’s going on on the ice, they always have a good time at an Everblades game.

The Fair-Weather Fan: The Fair-Weather Fan only comes out to support the team when they’re doing well. They love to brag about how much they love the Everblades when they’re winning, but as soon as they start losing they’re nowhere to be found. You’ll find them wearing their jerseys and gear only when it’s trendy to do so – which is usually when the team is winning or in the playoffs.

Of course, there are plenty of other types of fans out there – these are just a few of the most common ones. No matter what type of fan you are, we hope you enjoy cheering on your favorite team this season!
