Gardner Webb Baseball Releases 2020 Schedule

The Gardner-Webb baseball team and Head Coach Tom Blair have announced the program’s 2020 schedule, which features 36 games, including 27 at John Henry Moss Stadium/Bill Masters Field.

Gardner-Webb will open the season on Friday, February 14th with a three-game home series against conference-foe USC Upstate The Runnin’ Bulldogs will also host Campbell (Feb. 28-March 1), Winthrop (March 6-8), Hampton (March 13-15) and Charlotte (April 3-5) in Big South play at home. non-conference home games include VMI (Feb. 21-23), Charlotte (April 17), Wofford (April 21), Appalachian State (May 12) and North Carolina A&T (May 19).

On the road, Gardner-Webb will travel to Western Carolina (Feb. 18), Virginia Tech (March 10), East Tennessee State (March 24-26), Radford (April 7-9) and Longwood (May 8-10) for league contests. The ‘Dogs will also have midweek games at UNC Asheville (Feb. 25), Clemson (April 14) and South Carolina State (April 28).

Gardner Webb has released its 2020 baseball schedule and the Bulldogs will open the season on Feb. 14 against VMI.

The Bulldogs will play a total of 56 games in 2020, including 27 at home. Gardner Webb’s conference slate will begin on March 6 with a three-game series at Campbell.

The 2020 Big South Conference Baseball Tournament will be held May 20-24 at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, North Carolina

The Gardner Webb Baseball Team has announced their 2020 schedule. The team will play a total of 56 games, 27 of which will be home games The season will begin on February 14th with a three-game series against the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Other notable games on the schedule include a three-game series against the defending National Champion Vanderbilt Commodores as well as home series against ACC opponents Wake Forest and Duke.

The Bulldogs will also compete in the Big South conference tournament which is scheduled to take place from May 20-24 in Asheville, NC.
