1. Indiana Wesleyan University
The Wildcats have been on fire lately, winning 9 of their last 10 games. They have jumped from 4th place to 2nd place in the standings and are now just 1/2 game behind first place Mount Vernon Nazarene University
2. University of Northwestern Ohio
The Racers have also been playing well, winning 8 of their last 10 games. They have moved up from 6th place to 4th place in the standings and are now just 2 games behind first place Mount Vernon Nazarene University

The Cougars have maintained their lead in the GMAC standings despite losing 5 of their last 10 games. They are still clinging to first place by just 1/2 game over Indiana Wesleyan University

With the 2019 GMAC baseball season in Full Swing there have been a few surprise teams so far. Who’s on top?
-The first-place team might be a surprise to some, but not to those who have been paying attention to the cursor race. The Cincinnati Reds currently hold a 0.5-game lead over the Chicago Cubs in the GMAC Central standings.
-In the GMAC East, the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves are both off to hot starts and find themselves tied for first place with identical 9-3 records.
-Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is in the GMAC West, where the San Diego Padres find themselves atop the division with an 8-4 record.

The GMAC’s biggest disappointment this season has been theTopeka Golden Giants. After a strong start to the season, the Golden Giants have faltered, going just 7-17 in their last 24 games. They now sit in fourth place in the GMAC standings, six games behind the first-place Wichita Wings.
Another team that has struggled lately is the second-place Lincoln Saltdogs. The Saltdogs have gone just 8-16 in their last 24 games and are now four games behind the Wichita Wings.
The third-place Omaha Storm Chasers have also struggled as of late, going 9-15 in their last 24 games. They are five games behind the Wichita Wings.

The season is in full swing and the GMAC is heating up. Who are the most exciting players in the league so far?
1. Bryce Harper OF, Nationals: The reigning MVP is off to another hot start, leading the league in home runs (10) and OPS (1.178).
2. Mike Trout OF, Angels: Trout is once again putting up MVP-caliber numbers, batting .337/.457/.741 with nine home runs and eight stolen bases
3. Jose Altuve 2B, Astros: Altuve continues to be one of the best hitters in the game, batting .346/.408/.542 with five Home Runs and four stolen bases.
4. Manny Machado 3B, Orioles: Machado is having a huge season at the plate, hitting .341/.438/.672 with nine home runs and eight stolen bases.
