The Team

This season, the Graves County girls basketball team is looking to build on their success from last year. The team is led by senior captain Jordan Jones, who is a four-year starter. Other Key Players include junior guard Brooklyn Peal and sophomore forwardSkylar Williams. The team’s goal is to make it back to the region tournament and compete for a spot in the State Tournament

The Schedule

The Graves County High School Girls Eagles Basketball team will play a total of twenty-six games in the 2019-2020 Season Their first game is on November 12th at home against Lyon County. The last game of the season will be played on February 15th at Calloway County. In between, the Eagles will play teams from all around Kentucky, including McCracken County, Henderson County, Livingston Central, and Marshall County.

The Coaches

The Coaches
When head coach Bridgett Milton was hired in 2015, the Graves County High School girls’ basketball team had gone 3-20 the previous season and had not had a winning record in more than 10 years. In her first season at the helm, Coach Milton led the Lady Eagles to a 12-14 record and a berth in the 16th Region Tournament. The following season, Graves County improved to 13-13 and made it back to the region tournament.

Entering her third season, Coach Milton has a 29-27 record at Graves County and has the Lady Eagles poised for another Successful Season She is assisted by Darrin Lanham and Billy Mays. Coach Lanham is in his first year as an Assistant Coach at Graves County but has more than 20 years of experience coaching high school basketball in Kentucky, most recently at Calloway County high school Coach Mays is also in his first year as an assistant coach at Graves County but brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to the Lady Eagles, including stops at Marshall County, Calloway County and Reidland High Schools.
