2020 class

The 2020 class is currently the second-ranked recruiting class in the country according to 247Sports, and it includes five-Star Prospects Khristian Lander, Trey Galloway and Jordan Tucker.

Lander, a point guard from Evansville, IN, is ranked as the 18th best player in the country by 247Sports. He is a very talented scorer and playmaker who should be able to make an immediate impact for the Hoosiers.

Galloway, a small forward from South Bend IN, is ranked as the 28th best player in the country by 247Sports. He is a very good shooter and playmaker who should be able to contribute right away for Indiana.

Tucker, a Power Forward from Lagrange, GA, is ranked as the 37th best player in the country by 247Sports. He is a very good rebounder and shot-blocker who should be able to help Indiana on the defensive end of the court.

2019 class

The 2019 class is one of the most talented groups of prospects in recent years with numerous future stars expected to emerge. The class is headlined by five-star prospects Romeo Langford and Keion Brooks, as well as four-star point guard Robert Phinisee. Indiana will also be looking to add several other high-level recruits in the 2019 class.

2018 class

The Indiana Hoosiers have a chance to put together one of their best recruiting classes in recent memory.

The class is currently ranked No. 7 in the country by 247Sports and No. 8 by Rivals.

1. Romeo Langford, SG, New Albany (IN)high school The five-star guard is the highest-rated prospect in the class and rightfully so. He’s an elite scorer with an excellent feel for the game. He should be an immediate impact player for the Hoosiers.

2. Damezi Anderson, SF, South Bend (IN) Riley high school Anderson is a four-star small forward that can really fill it up from deep. He’s a good athlete that should be able to contribute right away on the wing.

3. Robert Phinisee, PG, Lafayette (IN) Jefferson high school Phinisee is a four-star point guard that does a little bit of everything on the court. He’s a very good shooter and also a very good defender. He should see significant minutes as a freshman.

4. Jerome Hunter SF, Pickerington (OH) North high school Hunter is a four-star small forward that has really exploded onto the scene over the past year or so. He’s an excellent shooter with good size for his position. he should be able to provide some instant offense off the bench for Indiana next season.

5., Race Thompson, PF, Armstrong (MN) high school Thompson is a four-star power forward that is known for his strong work ethic and high motor. He’s not the most skilled player but he makes up for it with his hustle and energy level. he should be able to provide some valuable minutes as a reserve next season

The 2016 class looks to be one of the strongest in recent years for Indiana Basketball

– Romeo Langford, a 6’5″ guard from New Albany, IN who is rated as a 5-star prospect by ESPN
– Corey Brewer, a 6’9″ forward from Indianapolis, IN who is rated as a 4-star prospect by ESPN
– Al Durham, a 6’4″ guard from Baconton, GA who is rated as a 4-star prospect by ESPN
– Joey Brunk, a 6’11” center from Southport, IN who is rated as a 3-star prospect by ESPN.

2015 class

The 2015 class for Indiana University’s men’s basketball team is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory. Head Coach Tom Crean has already landed five-star recruit James Blackmon Jr., and the Hoosiers are in the mix for several other top prospects

-Thomas Bryant: A 6’10” center from New York, Bryant is ranked as the No. 5 center and the No. 23 overall player in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com. He has offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, and many others.

--Caleb Swanigan A 6’9″ power forward from Indiana, Swanigan is ranked as the No. 2 power forward and the No. 8 overall player in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com. He has offers from Indiana, Duke, Michigan State Purdue, and many others.

2014 class

The 2014 Indiana Basketball Recruiting class currently consists of 6’7 wing Roy Williams 6’10 center Jeremiah April, and 6’9 forward Max Hoetzel. These three prospects make up a well-rounded class that should be able to come in and make an immediate impact.

Troy Williams is the highest rated player in the class, and he has the potential to be a star at the collegiate level. A smooth lefty with a fantastic all-around game, Williams should be able to step in and contribute right away. He’s an excellent shooter with range beyond the three-point line and he’s also a very good rebounder for his size.

Jeremiah April is a big body in the post who can really clog up the lane on defense. He’s not the most athletic player in the world, but he makes up for it with his huge frame and massive wingspan. April is still raw on offense, but he has good hands and can finish around the basket.

Max Hoetzel is a sharpshooter with unlimited range from behind the Three-Point Line He’s not the biggest player on the court, but he’s got a quick release and impeccable accuracy from long range. Hoetzel will need to work on his ball-handling and playmaking ability if he wants to see significant minutes at the collegiate level, but he has all the tools to be a very successful role player

2013 class

The 2013 class for Indiana Basketball is looking to be one of the best in recent memory.

Headlining the class is center Moses Brown, who is ranked as the number one center and number four player overall in the country by ESPN. Brown has great size at 7-feet tall and is a very good athlete. He’s still raw offensively, but has a lot of potential.

small forward Romeo Langford is another top prospect in the class. He’s ranked as the number 10 player in the country by ESPN and is a very talented scorer. He has good size at 6-foot-6 and has a nice shooting touch.

point guard Robert Johnson is another key piece to the class. He’s ranked as the number 12 player in the country by ESPN and is a very good shooter and playmaker. Johnson has good size at 6-foot-3 and should be able to contribute right away.

The 2013 class also features two four-star prospects in power forward Justin Smith and shooting guard Damezi Anderson. Smith is a 6-foot-7 forward who is a very good athlete with a lot of upside. Anderson is a 6-foot-6 wing who is a skilled scorer with a nice outside shot.

2012 class

The 2012 basketball Recruiting Class is loaded with top prospects and Indiana is in the mix for several of them. Here is a look at some of the Top Players in the class and where the Hoosiers stand with them.

Cody Zeller
The 6-11 center from Washington, Indiana is the consensus Top Prospect in the country. He has great size, is an excellent shooter and has very good quickness and athleticism for a big man. Zeller has said that he plans on taking his time with his recruitment and will not make a decision until late in his senior season. Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio State are thought to be the main contenders for his services.

Marquis Teague
The 6-2 point guard from Indianapolis is one of the quickest players in the country and is an excellent slasher to the basket. He still needs to work on his outside shot, but he has all of the tools to be a very good player at the next level. Teague recently named Kentucky, Indiana, Louisville and Tennessee as his final four schools.

Michael Gilchrist
The 6-7 forward from Somerdale, New Jersey is one of the most versatile players in the country. He can play inside or out, has a high motor and is an excellent rebounder. Gilchrist recently named Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and Villanova as his final four schools. Indiana will have a tough time beating out those schools for his services.

Mitch McGary
The 6-10 center from Chesterton, Indiana is a big body who can really run the floor well for a player his size. He needs to work on his low post game offensively, but he has good hands and feet and is an excellent rebounder. McGary recently named Michigan State Duke, Florida and Ohio State as his final four schools with Kentucky also under consideration. The Hoosiers will have a tough time beating out those schools for his services as well

2011 class

The 2011 class is one of the most talented and deepest in recent memory.

There are a Number of players who have the potential to be future All-Stars, and there are a number of role players who have the potential to contribute immediately.

The class is led by point guard Kyrie Irving who is widely considered to be one of the best point guards in the country.

Other top prospects include shooting guard Austin Rivers power forward Cody Zeller, small forward Harrison Barnes and center Jonas Valanciunas.
