2018 Iowa Basketball Recruiting Class: The Top 5 Prospects

The Iowa Hawkeyes currently have the No. 11 recruiting class in the nation for 2018, per 247Sports. They are still in the hunt for a few more prospects, but here is a look at the top five recruits in their class so far.

5-star point guard RJ Barrett is the No. 1 player in the country and he has been high on Iowa’s radar for a while now. They are currently in his top five along with Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State and Oregon.

4-star shooting guard Joe Wieskamp is the No. 2 player in Iowa and he committed to them back in September. He is a 6’6″ wing who can really shoot it from deep and he should be a great fit in Fran McCaffery’s offense.
