2019 Islander baseball schedule Pre-Season

The 2019 Lander Baseball Schedule is out, and the defending National League champions open the pre-season on the road against the Bosox on March 28. The home opener is April 1 against Baltimore. The first interleague game of the season is May 12 when San Diego comes to town for a three-game set.

2019 Islander Baseball schedule Post-Season

After an exciting regular season the 2019 Islander baseball schedule enters the post-season.

The top four teams in each division (American and National) will face off in a best-of-seven series to determine division champions. The division champions will then advance to the best-of-seven League Championship Series to determine who will represent their respective leagues in the World Series

The World Series is a best-of-seven series between the American League and National League champions.

2019 Islander Baseball Schedule Regular Season Games

The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Islanders baseball team will open their 2019 season on February 15th at Chapman Field against the Prairie View A&M Panthers. The Islanders are coming off a successful 2018 campaign in which they finished 39-22 overall and 25-5 in Southland Conference play, winning the regular season conference title outright.

The 2019 Islanders will feature a talented core of returning players, including All-Southland Conference first baseman Cole Sudbeck, All-Southland Conference third baseman Zachary Gibson, and Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year Caleb Dean. The team will also welcome back pitchers Nick Lion and Nolan Holland, who both missed significant time last season due to injury.

The Islanders have a challenging schedule ahead of them, with home games against non-conference opponents such as Texas State Baylor, UTSA, and UT Arlington. They will also host conference foes Stephen F. Austin, Central Arkansas Nicholls State Houston Baptist Mcneese State Southeastern Louisiana and Northwestern State. Road trips during the conference season include visits to Lamar, Sam Houston State Oral Roberts New Orleans, SHSU again, UCA again, NSU again, and HBU again. The Regular Season will conclude with a three-game home series against Texas A&M – Kingsville from May 16-18.
