-Adam Reed: The team’s ace pitcher, Reed is a dominant force on the mound and will be instrumental in any success the team has this season.

The Iuk baseball team has a lot of talent this year, and their catchers are no exception. Darrin Benning is a senior who has been starting for the team for three years. 2. Junior second baseman Starlin Castro is another dangerous hitter in the lineup. He’s a shortstop by trade, but he’ll be moving over to second base this season. Castro has good speed and should be able to steal some bases as well. He’s also a solid defender.

3. Sophomore third baseman Miguel Sano is a raw talent who has all the tools to be a great player. He’s still learning the game, but he has shown flashed of brilliance at times. Sano has enormous power potential and could be a real threat in the middle of the lineup. He’s also a solid defender at third base.

4. Senior shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is one of the best defensive shortstops in the Game Today He has great range and makes all the routine plays look easy. Tulowitzki doesn’t have much pop in his bat, but he’s a contact hitter who can get on base for the guys behind him.

5. Junior catcher Matt Wieters rounds out the starting infield for Iuk baseball this season. Wieters is an excellent defensive catcher with a strong arm who does a great job handling pitchers. Offensively, he’s still developing, but he has shown some ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap.”

One thing is for sure, there is a lot of relief pitching talent on the IUK Baseball Roster Here are three Relief pitchers to keep an eye on this season:

1. Alex Wimmers – Wimmers was acquired by the IUK Baseball in a trade with the Minnesota Twins last year. He is a former first-round pick and has a lot of experience pitching in high-leverage situations.

2. Matt Albers – Albers was signed by the IUK Baseball as a free agent this offseason. He has pitched in parts of 10 Major League seasons and has experience pitching in both middle relief andsetup roles.

3. Robbie Ross – Ross was acquired by the IUK Baseball in a trade with the Texas Rangers last year. He is a left-handed pitcher who has a lot of experience pitching in late-inning situations.

Coach Mike Batesole-
Mike Batesole has been the Head Coach of the Iuk baseball team since 2006. Under his leadership, the team has won two conference championships and made four appearances in the NCAA tournament

Coach Ryan Stevens-
Ryan Stevens is in his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Iuk Baseball team He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of California Davis. Coach Stevens has helped the team to a great start this season with his knowledge of the game and his ability to connect with players.
