Lofton has been a member of six NBA All-Defensive Teams tied for sixth most in league history. He is also one of only nine players in NBA history to record more than 1,000 steals and 1,000 blocks.
In his first season with the Cavaliers, Lofton averaged 10.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He soon became one of the team’s best defenders and was selected to four straight NBA All-Defensive Teams from 2005 to 2008.
