MCC-Penn Valley’s Basketball team is a competitive and fun way to get involved on campus! The team consists of student-athletes who are committed to academic success and playing basketball at a high level. MCC-Penn Valley competes in the NJCAA Region XVI and is a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. We are always looking for talented and dedicated student-athletes to join our team!

History

Founded in 1968, Metropolitan Community College Penn Valley is a two-year public institution of higher education located in Kansas City Missouri. The college serves nearly 5,000 students each year and offers more than 60 different academic programs.

Metropolitan Community College Penn Valley first fielded a basketball team in the 1970-71 season. The team has been competitive at the NJCAA Division II level and has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament In recent years the team has been consistently ranked among the top 25 teams in the nation.

The Team

Metropolitan Community College Penn Valley is a two-year public Community College in Kansas City Missouri. The school is a part of the Metropolitan Community College system. Founded in 1968, the school enrolls approximately 5,000 students each semester. The Basketball team competes in the National junior college Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II level, and the conference they play in is the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC).
