On Saturday, the Los Angeles Coliseum will host a baseball game for the first time in nearly 90 years. The last time a professional baseball game was played in the stadium was on September 21, 1925, when the Hollywood Stars defeated the Portland Beavers, 11-7.
The game will be a rematch of that historic contest, pitting the current Hollywood Stars against the Portland Beavers. The event is being billed as “Baseball’s Greatest Reunion,” and will feature many former Major League Baseball stars, including Bob Feller Duke Snider Yogi Berra and Willie Mays.
