The Angels’ 2019 offseason has been a busy one. They’ve made a handful of moves, both via Free agency and trade, that have bolstered both their lineup and their pitching staff. Here’s a rundown of all the moves they’ve made thus far:

The Angels began their offseason by re-signing left-handed reliever Dillon Peters to a one-year, $575,000 deal. They then signed outfielder Justin Upton to a two-year, $28 million extension that will keep him in Anaheim through 2021. The next day, they acquired right-handed pitcher Dylan Bundy from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for Minor League infielder Isan Diaz and outfielder Yusniel Diaz.

On December 12th, the Angels signed infielder Zack Cozart to a three-year, $38 million contract. The very next day, they landed infielder/outfielder Tommy La Stella in a trade with the Chicago Cubs in exchange for right-handed pitcher Blake Parker. Just days later on December 18th, they inked reliever Cody Allen to a one-year deal worth $8.5 million.

And finally, on January 3rd, 2019, the Angels pulled off arguably their biggest move of the offseason when they acquired two-time American League MVP Mike Trout from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for outfielders Joc Pederson and Alex Verdugo, infielder Corey Seager, and pitchers Walker Buehler and Ross Stripling.
