The Lady Lions have a rich history of success, having won two National Championships eight Big Ten regular season titles, and six Big Ten Tournament titles.

This season, the Lady Lions are looking to build on their success and compete for more championships. Led by Head Coach Coquese Washington, the team is loaded with talent and looks poised to make a run at the title. Be sure to catch them in action this season!

The Lady Lions are led by Coach Johnson who has been with the team for four seasons. Under her guidance, the Lady Lions have become one of the top basketball teams in the state.

The Lady Lions are made up of twelve players, all of whom bring something special to the team. Get to know them so you can follow their impressive season!

Guards:
-Mia Johnson: Mia is a sophomore guard who is one of the top scorers on the team. She is known for her Three-point shooting and her ability to drive to the basket.
-Jasmine Thomas: Jasmine is a senior guard who is a great leader on and off the court. She is a tenacious defender and an accurate shooter.
-Aaliyah Holmes: Aaliyah is a junior guard who uses her speed to her advantage on both Offense and defense She is an exciting player to watch and is always hustling on the court.

Forwards:
-Savannah Mitchell: Savannah is a senior forward who is a force to be reckoned with in the paint. She is a strong rebounder and an intimidating defender.
-Nia Coleman: Nia is a junior forward who has a versatile skill set that makes her dangerous on both ends of the court. She can shoot from anywhere on the court and is also a great rebounder.
-Brianna Lewis: Brianna is a sophomore forward who runs the floor well and uses her athleticism to her advantage. She is still developing her offensive game, but she is already one of the best defenders on the team.

Centers:
-Jenna Randall: Jenna is a senior center who anchor of the team’s defense. sheis also a skilled offensive player with surprising agility for someone her size.
-Tiara Johnson: Tiara is a junior center who transferred to our school this year. She has immediately made an impact with her size and strength in the post.
