Last Season’s Record

The Longwood University Basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team is coming off of a 16-15 record from last season and will be looking to improve upon that this year. head coach Griff Aldrich will be entering his fourth season at the helm of the program and will have a squad that is experienced and battle-tested.

This Season’s Schedule

The wait is finally over, as the Longwood Basketball Schedule has been released! After an eventful off-season, the team is ready to take the court and start a new journey. Here is a look at this season’s schedule:

The season kicks off on November 5th with a Home game against Duke. The game will be aired on ESPN2 at 7pm EST. This will be followed by a road game against UNC on November 8th. The game will be aired on ESPN at 9pm EST.

The team will then have a string of home games starting with a matchup against UCF on November 12th. This will be followed by games against USF (November 16th), Temple (November 19th), and Virginia Tech (November 23rd).

The month of December will be a busy one for the team, as they have 9 games scheduled. This includes matchups against ranked opponents such as Gonzaga (December 3rd) and Kentucky (December 22nd). The team will also participate in the Diamond Head Classic tournament from December 22nd-25th.
