Tips for Success

As we enter the heart of the baseball season there are a few key things to keep in mind if you want to have a successful season

First and foremost, good pitching wins games. It is immensely important to have a staff of quality starting pitchers who can go deep into games and eat up innings. A good bullpen is also key; it’s important to have arms that can come in and get key outs when needed.

Secondly, offense wins games too. A good hitting team will put runs on the board and put pressure on the opposing team’s pitchers. A patient approach at the plate often pays dividends, as does having power hitters who can clear the bases with one swing of the bat.

Lastly, defense is critical. A team that plays clean defense will often find themselves in position to win close games. Good fielding teams make the routine plays and don’t give up extra outs or runs.

By keeping these things in mind, you’ll be well on your way to having a successful Malone baseball season!
